Gorgeous Teardrops

Jim & Joyce Bailey – Gorge-ous Teardrops

Here are some photos of my teardrop I built from the ground up. Starting it in 2004, it took me 6 years to complete because of the cost of materials. I have around 8k into it.

Sometime I thought I would never get it completed. Painted in 2010, I am still adding things to it. The latest item I purchased was a 80 watt Zamp Solar panels to power it up when we are dry camping.

As you can see from the interior photos it has a footwell which gives us a booth inside capable of holding 4 adults. I also have exterior tables and stools that support off the rear frame of the trailer. It even has a 12 volt Microwave. Inside has a 12/110 DVD TV.

I started manufacturing new and recondition teardrops under the name of Gorge-ous Teardrops because we live in the Beautiful Columbia River Gorge between Oregon and Washington.

That is one of the coolest teardrops I have ever seen. I love the Hot Rod look! I want to build something similar in style. Great job!

Absolutely love your teardrop. I had one but it didn’t have the floor well in it so there wasn’t any way to sit up. I didn’t like having to go to bed to go inside as my only option. It looks like you could also use a porta potty in that space as well if you used the bench seats as 2 twin beds. Love it!!!!!!!!!!!
